A library, without walls, without the ceiling and without the floor. It is neither a building, space nor a physical object, but a mental image, a fiction.

Unlike the rest of libraries, it is not understood as a place where all knowledge is stored, but as a place where very specific and very particular knowledge is built. Knowledge is built through collecting, organizing and connecting books that have never been connected before. A place where our personal obsessions somehow become public. Considering that knowledge is changeable and mutable, it changes as we grow and learn, or as we add unknown elements into the equation, hence our library changes constantly, as well as the number of books it contains. It is understood as a kind of living organism.

This library does not accept any established system of cataloguing books. We believe in the seduction of spontaneous and the unexpected. We believe in error, and see it as something productive and positive. Connecting books and elements that are never connected before allows us to weave narratives and transversal situations, stupid and absurd. Yes, stupid. We defend stupidity as the engine of all knowledge construction because what is where the intelligent and rational has its limits, on the other hand, stupidity does not.

The library is built over time and takes the room as a unit of measurement. The rooms, like ghosts, appear inadvertently. They have the ability to change the size, mutate and even disappear. It also has the ability to occupy and parasitize actual physical spaces for a short period of time. Spaces and places with very different scales: a city, a supermarket, an abandoned house or a matchbox. Each room, in turn, has its own rules and its own logic. Respond to a concept or an idea and the books that are housed inside are organized and classified according to that concept, and according to these rules.

Our library is like a laboratory, a kind of test kitchen where you can test flavours and experiences. A game board with a large mixing console for sampling, mixing, transforming, swallowing, or destroying anything worthy of an introduction to the transformation of building improbable and unexpected encounters, exciting, provoking, seducing, reconstructing thoughts, or disturbing the paginated mind.
